Summary
Title: The Prince And His Mischievous One
As six-year-old Lanka Norman played in the palace gardens, he spotted a small figure being cornered by a group of older boys. Curiosity piqued, he approached and to his surprise, it was Jan Gray, the very person he had vowed to avoid in this new life. Panic set in as Lanka tried to backtrack, but it was too late.
Jan looked up, his eyes a mixture of fear and defiance. With a deep breath, Lanka stepped forward, surprising even himself. "Hey, leave him alone!" he called out, his voice trembling slightly. The older boys turned their attention to him, their faces twisted in amusement.
But Jan's expression softened, a glimmer of gratitude in his eyes. As the bullies dispersed, Jan stood up, dusting off his clothes. "Thanks," he mumbled, avoiding Lanka's gaze. And in that moment, Lanka realized that perhaps Jan wasn't the villain he had painted him to be.
A bond, unexpected and fragile, began to form between the prince and the mischievous one. And Lanka couldn't help but wonder if this twist of fate was the beginning of a new story, one where betrayal could turn into trust, and enemies could become allies.
