Title: The Mean Boy
As the days went by, Minhyuk's unease grew deeper. Hanbin's presence in their home seemed to cast a dark shadow over everything. His son, Hyunjae, became more withdrawn, his wife, Minjoo, more distant. But it wasn't just their behaviors that troubled him – strange occurrences began happening. Objects moved on their own, whispers echoed in the dead of night, and a cold chill permeated the air.
One evening, as Minhyuk sat alone in his study, the sound of a violin filled the house. It was a haunting melody, one he recognized all too well – it was Hanbin playing his violin. But how could it be? Hanbin was supposed to be out that night. Curiosity getting the better of him, Minhyuk followed the music to the practice room. What he saw there sent shivers down his spine.
Hanbin stood in the dimly lit room, his eyes devoid of emotion, his fingers skillfully dancing on the strings of the violin. And then Minhyuk noticed it – the violin Hanbin was holding was his old violin, the one he had lost years ago in a tragic accident. How could Hanbin have that violin? Questions raced through Minhyuk's mind as he watched in horror.
Suddenly, Hanbin stopped playing, his gaze locking onto Minhyuk's. A wicked smile tugged at his lips, sending a shiver down Minhyuk's spine. "You shouldn't have brought me here," Hanbin whispered, his voice chilling to the bone. And in that moment, Minhyuk knew – bringing Hanbin into their home was indeed the worst mistake of his life. But it was too late to turn back now.
