Summary
Title: Star Struck
Seo Han-joon stood breathless, his heart pounding louder than the cheers filling the school gymnasium. Cho Yoo-jae, the object of his affection for years, stood before him, a crown on his head, declared the prom king. Seo Han-joon's smile was strained, his eyes betraying the storm of emotions within.
As the slow dance began, Han-joon couldn't resist the pull any longer. He pulled Yoo-jae into his arms, his voice shaking but determined. "I can't keep pretending, Yoo-jae. I've loved you for so long, and I can't just be your friend anymore."
Yoo-jae's eyes widened in shock, the music fading into the background. Han-joon's heart raced, waiting for a response. But just as he braced himself for rejection, Yoo-jae's hand cupped his cheek, his gaze intense.
"I've been blind, Han-joon. I thought I only saw you as a friend, but I was wrong." Yoo-jae's voice was soft, his words sending a jolt of realization through them both. And as they swayed to the music, the world disappeared, leaving only the two of them and the promise of a love they had both been longing for.
